Praying to the God who is Truth

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
(John 14:6)
It is impossible for God to lie.
(Hebrews 6:18)
[God’s] Word is truth.
(John 17:17)
Read the Bible to learn truth.
Then ask God to do what He says He will do.
When you pray, ask for . . .
Forgiveness. Don’t carry the burden of guilt. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us (1 John 1:9).
Freedom from fear. God did not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7).
Peace. My peace I give you (John 14:27).
Strength. I am your God; I will strengthen you (Isaiah 41:10).
Help. I am your God . . . I will help you (Isaiah 41:10).
Provision. My God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches (Philippians 4:19).
Wisdom. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God . . . and it will be given to him. But when he asks he must believe and not doubt (James 1:5-6).
God to work in you. It is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose (Philippians 2:13).
Blessing. May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us (Psalm 67:1).
