Kneeling in Prayer

A leper came to Jesus and begged him on his knees. Jairus fell at his feet and pleaded earnestly with Jesus. The rich young man fell on his knees before him (Mark 1:40; 5:22; 10:17). I read those verses one morning and prayed, “Lord, does kneeling matter to you?”

Later that day, I filled our tractor with gas and mowed the lawn. When my daughter came home, she noticed the gas cap was missing. I asked the Lord where it was as I walked around our yard. I didn’t find it, so I went back to the tractor and kneeled to pray.  I was about to close my eyes when I saw the gas cap, at eye level, hidden under the seat of the tractor.

Kneeling to pray matters to God.

  1. So cool.

I had a similar experience. We lost a key part of a camera at a bird sanctuary. We had no idea where to look. We knelt to pray and there it was between my knees!

    Amazing. God is good.
