You should know this if you pray for God’s leading

God did not lead them along the main road, that runs through Philistine territory, even though that was the shortest route to the Promised Land. God said, “If the people are faced with a battle, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.” So God led them in a roundabout way through the wilderness (Exodus 13:17-18).

God leads with the end in mind.

  1. Thanks Becky!

Really hope you are doing well. I appreciate so many of your blogs, but this one I think is our situation. I wonder sometimes why God brought us all the way across the country, provided for the school, etc, then to have my husband not end up a pastor. THEN I see how our prior church has gone through so many struggles, that I know would have been more difficult than we could have handled. For example, the pastor of that church just resigned and is no longer going to be a pastor (granted there are other things going on there and God has a good plan for them too), but still makes me see that God has a bigger picture than we do.

    Glad God knows the end!
