Keep a prayer journal

Over two years ago I wrote, “Lord, could you give us a tangible reason for joy?” My prayer suggested six things God might like to do. It ended this way, “Of course you can. Will you?”

Today I found that prayer. Four of my requests have been unmistakably granted.

Recorded prayers give concrete examples of the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power and the wonders he has done (Psalm 78:4).

  1. It is amazing to me how many wonderful blog sites there are on prayers. I thought I was being original when posting on answered prayers, and then I found your site. Wonderful! I am new the world of blogging but when I find sites like yours, I feel refreshed and encouraged! Thank you. I will start following you! My site: journeyinprayerblog.com
