When I first heard Hudson Taylor’s ambition “To move man, through God, by prayer alone”* I was teaching AWANA. My co-leader had a leader’s guide I needed.

I decided to try to move him, though God, by prayer alone.

I asked God to remind him to bring the book to club. Week one, he didn’t bring it. I said nothing, but I prayed. Week two, no book again. I said nothing, but I kept praying. Week three, he burst into the room, smiling broadly, with his arm outstretched, holding the book I needed.
