The Father’s motive for allowing believers access to Him is that He loves them. Because of that they can boldly and fearlessly enter His presence in complete confidence, as children for whom He cares deeply.*
Because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father” (Galatians 4:6).
