Esther’s Story Reminds Us to Pray

When Mordecai told Esther, “Go to the king to beg for mercy and plead for her people,”  he also said, “If you keep quiet, deliverance and relief will arise from some other place.”

Three days later, wearing royal robes Esther entered the king’s inner court. The king said, “What do you want, Queen Esther? What is your request? I will give it to you. (Read her story in the book of Esther).

I read her story and thought:
If I don’t pray, someone else will.
I enter God’s courts clothed in righteousness.
I need to believe that our God the King, says when we ask, we receive.
