Persist in Prayer and Obedience

The Israelites prayed for direction. God told them what to do. They did what He said. They were defeated.

They asked for direction again, this time through tears.  They obeyed again and were defeated again.

They asked a third time, with weeping, fasting and offerings. This time the Lord said, “Go! Tomorrow I will hand [your enemy] over to you.”

They went and were victorious. (Read this story in Judges 20.)

Pray your way to victory, even if it takes a long time.
