Pray Out Loud – 2

I was in our building’s laundry room when I saw an elderly lady struggling with something in her laundry cart. Her jacket’s draw string clip was stuck.

She wanted my help, so I took hold of the clip and prayed, “Lord, please show me how to get this thing out.” I  immediately saw how to get it out. I’m not usually good with brainy puzzles, so I know the Lord showed me the way.

She was thrilled and exclaimed, “You’re a genius.”

I said, “No, you heard my prayer. God showed me what to do.”

I prayed out loud, “on account of the people standing around, that they may believe (John 11:42).
