Prayer is Claiming God’s Promises

“He was very tired, but he walked bravely on through the mist and darkness, praying in his heart that the King would watch over him. And after a time he thought of some words that he had read in the King’s Book. ‘He shall give his angels charge over thee.'”*

Claim that same promise when you pray, for the Lord will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).

A Prayer for a Preemie

I was moved by my friend’s gratitude and use of Scripture as she prayed for our grandson. Here’s the text she sent:

“Praying for Sarah, her husband, and her precious precious baby! Thanking God for his safe (though unexpected) arrival. I pray that “God will give His angels charge concerning them and guard them and the medical staff in all their ways” (Psalm 91:11).

Thank you to all who prayed!
